Kristin De Vivo is a ceramic artist living in San Anselmo, California. She enjoys creating handcrafted ceramics inspired by California coastal ecosystems and designed for environmentally conscious consumers. Kristin’s work supports sustainable aquaculture by partnering with responsible shellfish growers, using low-waste studio practices, and highlighting locally sourced seafood culture.
Her work often originates with wheel-thrown pieces that are later carved or altered. Other techniques Kristin incorporates into her practice include slab hand building and slip casting from her unique clay models.

Kristin partners with Hog Island Oyster Company to sell her oyster platters and new line of oyster ornaments (Fall 2026) at their retail store in Marshall, Ca.
She also participates in local craft markets and sells her oyster ornaments online at Etsy.
